On October 22, 2025, an MS Imaging Seminar will take place at the Anna Spiegel Center for Translational Research (Seminar Room, Level 3, starting at 9:00) in collaboration with Bruker Daltonics. The event will bring together leading experts to discuss the latest developments in spatial proteomics and mass spectrometry–based biomedical imaging.
Highlights include a lecture on Redefining Spatial Biology by Dr. Björn Wendik, presentations on innovative MALDI and infrared laser imaging approaches by Dr. András Kiss and Dr. Cosima Koch, as well as an overview of mass spectrometry imaging at MedUni Vienna and the services of the Proteomics Core Facility by Prof. Klaus Kratochwill.
The seminar will provide valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies in the field of spatial proteomics (Nature Methods - Method of the Year 2024), enabling rapid and label-free biomedical analysis of tissues and cells.
